CHRISTMAS 2012 – come celebrate with PLACE
on Wednesday 12th December
at BedernHall

 CHRISTMAS IMAGES – a talk by Maureen Hopkinson on the Nativity as represented in medieval stained glass and manuscripts, including some examples from York.

CHRISTMAS WORDS and MUSIC – a miscellany of word and song (directed by Dr. Ralph Bateman, York St John University Director of Music) with reference to Yorkshire.

CHRISTMAS FUN – a Christmas quiz, some questions with some relevance to Yorkshire! The answers will be available at the end of the evening and there will be prizes.

CHRISTMAS FOOD and DRINK – mulled wine and mince pies will be available to further the celebrations.

You can also LOOK FORWARD TO 2013 and buy copies of the next year’s PLACE CALENDAR (excellent Christmas presents and/or stocking fillers).
