Our next event is the archaeological visit to Kildale on Saturday 27th October – details in our autumn newsletter.  There are still places available for this visit and for the talk on stargazing on November 14th and our pre-Christmas celebration on December 12th.

If you are not coming to the Kildale visit, you may be interested in an event in Malton on the same date, focusing on the Yorkshire Wolds. Organised by the Council for British Archaeology, the York Archaeological Trust and Historic England, the event is entitled, The Yorkshire Wolds Heritage Showcase, and is designed to give people the opportunity to share information and ideas about the Wolds. It runs from 9.45am to 4.30pm in the Milton Rooms, Malton. It costs just £5.00, including refreshments and lunch. Further details by phone from 01904 615505.
