Langdale Forest: a case of mistaken identity

Unfolding the landscape: Malham, North Yorkshire

Unfolding the landscape: Malham, North Yorkshire

Two new PLACE publications have been produced this summer.  The first is an account of the changing uses and perceptions of Langdale Forest, North York Moors, and was developed from the very interesting paper given at our conference in Dalby Forest in 2012 by Brian Walker. It costs just £2.50 plus £1.50 post and packing.

The second is an account of the development of the landscape around Malham, Yorkshire Dales, and is based on the paper given by Terry O’Connor at our joint lecture with the Yorkshire Philosophical Society and the Royal Geographical Society a few years ago.  It costs £2.50 plus £1.50 post and packing.

Both books are available from the PLACE Office.
