PLACE is organising the following fieldtrips this spring, as described in the spring newsletter:

Sat 10 March, 1.30pm – 4.30pm: Myton Grange – stud farm and tour of home farm and farmland. Cost £5.00.  Number limited to 25.

Sat 14 April: Elsecar Heritage Centre and New Hall Barn, South Yorkshire.  Morning self-guided walk around the heritage centre; afternoon guided tour of cruck-framed barn.  Afternoon cost: £5.00.  Number limited to 25 for afternoon.

Sat 26 May: Hardcastle Crags and Gibson Mill.  Tour of mill and guided walk through the woodlands. Cost: £5.00.  Number limited to 25 for tour of the mill.

Sun 17 June: Lower Winskill Farm, near Settle – archaeology and ecology.  Guided tour.  Cost: £5.00. Number limited to 25.
