Robert Wright has now revealed which six castles will feature in his forthcoming short course.  They are:

York – Clifford’s Tower and the former castle on the opposite side of the river

Pickering

Richmond

Helmsley

Scarborough

Middleham – a topical inclusion as the former home of Richard III.

The course, which starts on April 24th, will consist of six evening sessions (7.00-9.00pm) in Bedern Hall, York, followed by a field visit to one or two of the castles covered in the course.  We already have over 50 people signed up for this course, so anyone else who wishes to join us should contact the PLACE Office without delay!
