SINNINGTON WALK, AUGUST 5th

Our next walk takes place on Tuesday 5th August and starts from Sinnington, which is 2 miles east of Kirkbymoorside on the southern North York Moors.  Meet for an 11.00am start on the village green (grid ref SE 744 858), where there is parking and an honesty box. The walk follows the River Seven up to Appleton-le-Moors, through the village and then down through fields back to the river bank to return to Sinnington. The terrain is undulating with some rough and overgrown paths in a few places. Walking boots and poles are recommended. Please bring a packed lunch and let the leader know at the start of the walk of any relevant medical issues. You may also wish to carry a card with an emergency contact number.
