Saltburn from the beach

Our next fieldtrip will be to Saltburn-by-the-Sea on Wednesday 10th June. This is a chance to explore the beautiful valley of the Skelton Beck and learn about the development of Saltburn, in the company of local historian, Philip Thompson. Meet at the Woodlands Centre (grid ref: NZ 665208) at 11.00am, for a cup of coffee before our guided walk. Bring packed lunch, which will be eaten before an afternoon stroll up the valley through the wonderful spring woodland, followed by an optional walk on the beach to complete the day.
