An evening at the Merchant Adventurers’ Hall in York on 29 May

As a follow on from our very successful short course, York: Medieval to Modern, led by Robert Wright, we had an evening visit to the Merchant Adventurers’ Hall in York on Tuesday 29th May.  The visit was attended by 32 people and comprised a bespoke tour of the Hall, led by Lauren Marshall, followed by wine and cheese.  Anyone who has not been to the Hall is strongly recommended to visit it and learn about the history of the guilds and the city. Some pictures will appear in the June newsletter.
