 This 1-day conference took place at the Centre in the Park, Sheffield, on Saturday 29 October 2011. It was organised jointly by South Yorkshire ECONET (Biodiversity Research Group) and PLACE and attracted nearly 70 people.  The PLACE visit to Flamborough on July 30th was a great success. Seventeen people enjoyed a real treat in the morning, as geologist and PLACE Fellow, Richard Myerscough led us down the steep steps to Selwick Bay, where we studied the fascinating geology on the beach and in the cliffs.
